Responsibility
Thank you for visiting the coldest beer in Tucson website.
I believe that an ultra cold beer is a good thing. I also believe that responsibility, especially when it comes to drinking alcoholic beverages, is a great thing. Over drinking is a bad idea. Drinking and driving is just plain inexcusable.
Before I started writing this website I probably averaged drinking just one 12 oz beer a month. All the more reason to make sure that occasional draft is cold, refreshing and special. Since I started writing this website I am drinking one 12 oz. beer at a different restaurant each week as research for the reviews. I carry with me an eight inch thermometer that I purchased at a photo processing and dark room equipment store to record a somewhat accurate temperature of each beer.
I rarily keep beer in my refrigerator at home, only ordering a beer when I am dining out. My wife and I have developed an unspoken designated driver system. If she wants a dacari or margarita I order ice tea. If I order a beer she drinks soda. We always have a sober driver whenever we go out.
I support drinking responsibly, the use of the designated driver, and the programs established and conducted by MADD, Mother's Against Drunk Drivers and SADD, Students Against Drunk Drivers.
You can visit the MADD and SADD websites at www.madd.org and www.sadd.org respectively.

The Coldest Beer In Tucson is a website for connoisseurs of beer not guzzlers. If a beer is served at the proper temperature it is too cold to gulp anyway, it should be sipped and savored. A beer drinker who just wants to get drunk probably does not care about temperature, taste, or the ambiance of the establishment, or the flavor and presentation of the meal being served.
When dining out, I recommend ordering one cold beer with the appetizer or first course of the meal, then switching to ice water to cleanse the pallet before the main course and finishing up with a hot cup of coffee with desert.
If you do ever find yourself two or three beers into a restaurant meal, please, make sure you have a designated driver or call a taxicab.
By visiting and using this website you will find some great restaurants, some new and wonderful dining experiences and, of course, the coldest beer in Tucson.
